Posted September 09, 2018 09:37:33 The digital printing business is booming, but for Kilkennies digital shirt printing company, the boom has not been a fluke.
A new print house will be open on the corner of Morningside Drive and Morningsides Road from Thursday.
Makeshift offices and a workshop will open at the shop.
The store will offer printed shirts from brands including Nautilus, Red Lion, Grafton and Dolly the Sheep.
“This will be a brand new shop,” said Kilkeney-Smith.
“We have a number of print shops on the outskirts of town and this is a brand-new shop, it will be the largest print shop in Kilkennes history.”
The print shop will be owned by KilkENNIES digital shirt printers.
“We are looking to grow the business,” said the business’s head of business operations, Scott Molloy.
“In the last six months we have increased the number of prints and sales by a third, and we’ve had to do a lot of work to get to that point.”
Molloy said that the shop will also be able to sell shirts online, including on social media.
Kilkennys digital shirt prints, printed on the new print factory, will be sold at $10 each.
“We are hoping that we can continue to grow that and hopefully sell more,” he said.
